As we welcome the Rev. Dr. David Joyner as the new District Superintendent of the Capital District, we are excited for this new season of ministry and leadership. David is eager to begin building relationships throughout the district and looks forward to learning more about the churches, communities, ministries, and people who make the Capital District such a vibrant place of faith and service.

One of David’s priorities during his first months in the district is listening. He believes that strong leadership begins with listening to the stories, hopes, concerns, and dreams of the people called to ministry throughout our district. To that end, he is offering several opportunities for clergy and laity to connect with him in the coming months.
