Meet your District Youth Coordinator:

Rob Phillips is the Director of Youth Ministries at White Plains UMC and has been active in Conference youth ministry since the 20th Century! Rob previously served as District Coordinator of the Raleigh District and is excited to be building a new leadership team for the Capital District. Contact Rob at to get involved.




Capital District Youth Summit 2014

Saturday: March 8, 2014: 9AM-Noon, @ Centenary UMC in Smithfield

We are coming together for a transformational time of worship, fellowship and connection. All Churches in the Capital District are asked to send two adults and two youth to this event. There is a $10 registration fee per church to cover your four participants. We will worship together and break out by geographical areas within the District to talk about how we can build stronger connections to share the love of Christ together and strengthen our local church youth ministries by doing more together.

Leadership for this event will include Bishop Hope Morgan Ward, Reverend Jon Strother, Claire Cox-Woodlief and Charlie Baber among others. For more information please contact Rob Phillips at
