A discussion on sex trafficking and tourism in Thailand with Josh and Bekka Hilts.
Josh and Bekah are United Methodists with The Mission Society. They are are demonstrating the unconditional love of God as they seek to develop relationships with boys as young as eight years old who are trapped in the transgender sex industry within Thailand. As that country consistently ranks among the worst offenders in the world for human trafficking, the Hilts are offering counseling, education, vocational training, and jobs to develop relationships not only with those who are already in “the industry” but also to try and keep the at-risk boys out of reach. In developing these relationships, opportunities to share the gospel of Christ and discuss the of discipleship of being a Methodist.
This discussion with take place at Garner UMC on Sunday, October 16th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please register your groups attendance at email@example.com. Pizza and Soft drinks will be provided during this event.
