Why Mental Health First Aid Training?
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives us the skills we need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. All dates begin at 8:00 am and will end at 5:00 pm. Participants will be certified for 3 years after successfully completing the training program.
