On April 17, the Capital District will once again host IMPACT at the
Johnston County Community College in Smithfield beginning at 1 PM and going
until 5:00 PM. One of the hands-on activities for the day is the building
of three structures out of cans. These structures have a number of cans as
a part of their build. St Paul reminds us in his Corinthian correspondence
that it takes every part of the body to make the body work. Likewise, it
will take all of the churches in the Capital District to work together to
build these three structures. We have taken the totals needed to make all
of the structures and divided them up the best we could in a Fair Share
system. You will note that the cans we are asking for are specific types.
We need those cans because their labels and their sizes work best for the
structure. We believe that each church will want to participate.
