 Meet your Capital District Lay Servant Ministries Coordinators

Molly Beck

Molly graduated from NC Wesleyan College with a BA degree and from Duke Divinity School with a Master of Divinity degree. She has attended Millbrook UMC since 2000. She became the part time Minister of Congregational Care (including oversight of Millbrook’s Stephen Ministry) in 2013 after thirty-eight years in retail, most recently at Cokesbury Christian bookstore.

Mike Beasley

Mike has served Erwin UMC in many roles including Sunday school teacher and Stephen Ministry leader as well as Lay Leader and Annual Conference delegate. He became a certified lay speaker in 2016 and has spoken at 30 churches in the area. Mike enjoys encouraging others to boldly tell of their Christian journey and share their faith in Jesus Christ.
